Available across the Aethra product line, the new security mode feature on Aethra video conferencing systems activates enhanced protection and safety control to their usage. Activated with a specific enabling license, in security mode systems can only be used by authorized users. The access mode of users can also be defined and roles and authorizations fine tuned according to the security rules of the Intranet.

To gain access to the secure system, users must identify themselves by inserting username and password into a login page. This allows the owner to have absolute control of all who access the system. An Administrator will have to define an account for each authorized user and specify the access mode, the authorizations and an initial password.
